1) How to inspect the original Colour of the granite slabs.

If you want to judge or get to know the original colour of granite slabs you have to see the same slab from behind after splashing some water on to it if the colour matches with same colour which is in front then it is the original colour slabs, if it does not match then it is coloured by artificial colour.


2) How to know your slabs thickness?

By seeing the quantity of the material per container we can judge the thickness of the slabs for example if you buy 1.9cm thickness of the size 90cmX300cmX1.9cm then packed in wooden crate one can load only 175 to 180 slabs if it is more than 180 slabs then the thickness of the slabs is less then 1.9cm and the maximum quantity should be 450Sqmtr/Container if the quantity is more than 450SqMtr then there is problem with the thickness of the slabs.


3) How to inspect the thickness of the granite slabs?

You have to see the slab from side and see again from bottom to upside you can see the difference if same slabs has different thickness in bottom and upside then there is some problem in thickness of the slab.

If the granite slab is processed or cut by Multi blade cutting machine then mostly all slabs thickness will be same.


4) How to know about the quality of the Polish for your Granite slabs

Polish defects in the slabs like scratches, uniformity of polish

You should ask to your supplier your slabs have been polished by Manual polish machine or Automatic machine polish machine asking this to your supplier you can know the quality of the polish. If it is polished by automatic polish machine then the all corners of slabs also will be polished properly by seeing corners of the slabs you can know whether it is polished by automatic polish machine or not.

If polish is good then if you stand i front of the slab in reflection you should see the colour of the image which is in front of the slab.

The glaze on the slabs should me more than 98 in glosso meter.


5) Care for your Granite

Never use a coarse or gritty cleanser on your granite or other natural stone - even those marketed as "Soft". Such cleansers are sure to dull the finish and make your beautiful Natural stone vulnerable to etching and staining. In addition, avoid products that contain Lime, lemon, vinegar, bleach, ammonia. These will cause the granite to become dull and will eventually cause the sealant to weaken. Keep in mind, the stronger the cleanser, the quicker your sealant will break down.
